As students return to classrooms today, please keep these important safety reminders in mind:

🛑 Slow down in school zones
🛑 Watch for children crossing
🛑 Put your phone away, whether walking or driving
🛑 Keep fire lanes and emergency access clear
🛑 Give yourself extra time in case of traffic or delays

School zones can get busy quickly. Drivers, stay alert and be prepared for increased pedestrian and vehicle traffic. Let’s start the school year by making safety part of the daily routine.

From all of us at the North Vancouver City Fire Department, have a safe first day back!
