ABOUT:
Squamish Nation Employment & Training Department is pleased to offer services to clients living within our traditional territories – Vancouver, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Squamish and Whistler. We have a team of skilled and trained staff to provide a variety of services to you towards finding full-time employment. The Squamish Nation Employment and Training Department has 4 division a
nd provide the following services:
· Eslha7an Learning Centre in partnership with North Vancouver School District and Capilano University offer literacy programs.
· Stitsma Career Centre in partnership with ACCESS offer employment and training to work with clients to develop a training and career path.
· Squamish Nation Trades Centre in partnership with Kwantlen Polytechnic University offers trades training and apprenticeship programs.
· WaChawatem Income Assistance offers financial assistance to those in need and qualify. A few of the services we offer is: Essential Skills, Computer training, literacy, job readiness, academic support, trades training and apprenticeships, employment counseling services, financial support for 1 day courses up to 1 year, etc. Please contact the Employment & Training department at:
