Hollyburn Society The Hollyburn Society provides unique services in response to existing and emerging community social needs on the North Shore.

Incorporated in 2004, Hollyburn Community Services Society (HCSS) has been tackling hard issues on the North Shore like senior and youth homelessness, moving youth at risk to resilient members of our community, providing support to children and adults who have experienced violence and connecting parents to the resources, support and education they require to build strong and healthy families. The Grand Parade is just two weeks away!

We’re excited to share the 2.5 km route through beautiful West Vancouver! 💚

Starting at John Lawson Park, we’ll walk together along the scenic seawall before taking a well-earned break at the Archway Construction rest stop to grab a snack and rehydrate.

From there, we’ll loop back to the finish line at John Lawson and celebrate with food, music and, most importantly, community.

Meet Team IM&M+!

This incredible group from WorkBC North Vancouver is stepping up to make a difference for local seniors at The Grand Parade.

They’re walking because they’re passionate about their North Shore community, believe in working as a team, and know the importance of pulling together when people need each other most. The IM&M+ group are seeing too many seniors in their community struggling, and are proud to join the Grand Parade to help make a meaningful difference for local seniors.

They’re bringing their energy, team spirit and, most importantly, comfortable shoes. Their strategy? Stick together, have fun and make sure no one gets left behind at the snack table. 😉

Queenie is The Hollyburn Society’s accredited facility dog, offering a calm, grounding presence for survivors of violence and abuse navigating difficult appointments, meetings and court processes.

Working alongside a trained handler, she helps make challenging moments feel a little less overwhelming, and reminds survivors they don’t have to face them alone.
