Itโ€™s been a busy few months, and our August newsletter is a little summer wrap-up of what weโ€™ve been up to across the North Shore!

๐ŸŒก๏ธ We worked with community partners to develop our Heat Preparedness Guide, bringing together local resources to help older adults, caregivers, and service providers stay prepared during extreme heat.

๐Ÿ’ฌ We joined the West Vancouver Foundationโ€™s Vital Conversation, connecting with organizations working with youth and exploring the similarities between the challenges facing youth and older adults, particularly around social connection and isolation.

๐ŸŽ‰ We got out into the community at Party on the Plaza with Capilano Community Services and are looking forward to more community events this fall.

๐Ÿ“Š Weโ€™re also sharing what we heard from our Services to Seniors Coalition and Seniors Working Group through our recent satisfaction surveys.

๐Ÿ‘‹ And finally, weโ€™re saying a big thank you and goodbye to Johanna, our Canada Summer Jobs student! Weโ€™re so grateful for all her hard work this summer and for the support of the Canada Summer Jobs program in making her placement possible.

Read our August newsletter to catch up on the summer at Lionsview and see whatโ€™s coming up this fall! ๐Ÿ‚
