North Shore Neighbourhood House The North Shore Neighbourhood House is a not-for-profit registered charity serving the North Shore community since 1939.

North Shore Neighbourhood House is building a safe, healthy and strong community, welcoming all ages, abilities and cultures - one where everyone has access to support, everyone is included, and where everyone matters. We believe working together to meet the grassroots needs of our neighbours, especially our most vulnerable residents, is essential to building a safe, healthy and strong community. The House values and promotes cooperation, respect and empowerment through the provision of programs and services designed to meet the needs of individuals and the community as a whole. Join us for these FREE programs at John Braithwaite Community Centre starting soon!

🌼 Family playgroup drop-in: Join our playgroups with your children up to six years old and participate in play based activities, connect with other families, and find out about community resources.

🌞 Sunshine song time drop-in: Join us for a Parent-Child Mother Goose inspired drop-in program with your infant or toddler up to 18 months. A fun and interactive experience focusing on the pleasure and power of rhymes and songs, language development, and parent-child bonding. Public Health Nurses visit the program to talk about infant/toddler care and answer your questions.
