🚨Announcement: 2026 North Vancouver District Election Candidacy🚨
I’m proud to officially announce that I am running for District of North Vancouver Council in the October 2026 municipal election.
North Vancouver has always been home for me, not just where I have grown up and where I am raising a family, but where I have spent years working alongside neighbours, families, friends, and community leaders to help strengthen the places we all share.
Why I'm Running in 2026:
• I want to help make North Vancouver more livable for residents, livability is the lens I will use to make decisions on council
• To protect the forests and green spaces that make our community so special. Also improving and maintaining access to green spaces and nature
• Supporting North Vancouver based non profit organizations
• Keeping municipal tax increases below 2% annually
• I have gathered and continue to gather community input from non-profit organizations leaders, Indigenous leaders, small business leaders, community associations, and residents just like you.
• Practical solutions for traffic, local services, and transportation infrastructure
• Decision-making that puts residents first
My Bio:
• I grew up in the Edgemont Neighborhood
• BA in Political Science (international Relations) from Acadia University & Associate Certificate in Public Relations from BCIT
• I am on the District of North Vancouver Community Services Advisory Committee (reviewing grants for non-profit organizations)
• Founder & Co-President of the Lower Lynn Community Association
• Former President of the Parkgate Society Board of Directors. Served 6 years on Parkgate Society Board
• Currently Program Director at an Indigenous non-profit organization in New Westminster
Many of you know me through my work in local community organizations, families and children’s programs, local events, and non profit organizations advocacy. Others may remember my 2022 campaign, where I finished just a few hundred votes short of a seat on Council. Since then, I have continued listening, learning, and staying deeply involved in the day-to-day issues that matter most to residents.
I believe local government works best when it is approachable, collaborative, and grounded in real community experience.
This campaign won’t be about tearing people down, it will be about building community up, it will be about listening, staying true to principles, showing up, and making sure residents feel heard.
Over the coming months, I’ll be sharing more about my priorities and inviting conversations across the District. I hope you’ll join me on this journey, your voice matters.
Thank you for your continued support.
