The Grade 4/5 class worked with the Kindergarten Bees class to creat butterflies. One side was done by Grade 4/5 and the other side was a collaboration as the Grade 4/5 students supported the Bees.

These webinars give parents/guardians practical information on online safety and the risks youth may encounter while using social media, gaming platforms and messaging apps. Steps to take should your child/youth become a victim of online harm will also be discussed.

The excitement continued at our Laggan Lairds Track & Field Meet!

Students tested their skills in a variety of events, including our new javelin throw and the balance challenge. The balance station required plenty of focus, concentration, and determination as students worked to stay on one foot for as long as possible.

One of the highlights of the day was the constant cheering and encouragement from students. Whether competing or watching from the sidelines, our Lairds were quick to celebrate effort and support one another.

A great day filled with movement, perseverance, and outstanding sportsmanship!

What a day of racing at the Laggan Lairds Track & Field Meet! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

These photos capture some of the exciting sprint events, where many races were decided by the smallest of margins. We are incredibly thankful for slow-motion replay because some finishes were simply too close to call!

While the races were thrilling, the best part may have been the commentary, cheering, and outstanding sportsmanship displayed by our students. Hearing comments like, “Way to go, you got me!”, “That was a close one!”, and “I think you got that!” reminded us that competition and kindness can go hand in hand.

We are so proud of the encouragement, respect, and positive attitude shown by our Lairds throughout the day. Congratulations to all of our athletes for giving their best effort and making the meet such a memorable experience!
