Say hello to Evan, one of our two Housing Support Coordinators; BIANBA couldn’t be luckier to have Evan as part of our team!

Evan’s educational background is in Social Welfare & Social Development, and he has more than a decade of experience working and volunteering in the social services, primarily with people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

He uses this experience to assist clients in finding and securing housing, navigating complex systems, improving food security, and building the skills needed to manage day-to-day life with an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI).

Evan was born in Nova Scotia, and has been living, studying, and working in North Bay since 2013. When he is not at work, Evan enjoys hiking, cross country skiing, and cycling with his family.

Community Ask 💙
We’re reaching out to our lovely community to see if anyone is able to help. We have a 16-year-old male client who is starting a new program and is in need of a few specific items to set him up for success.
We’re looking for gently used men’s size 11 running shoes and men’s size medium sweatpants. If you have either of these items in fairly decent condition and are willing to donate, it would make a huge difference for this youth as he takes this next step.

💙 Our outreach bags are running low — and we need your help.

These bags provide warmth, hygiene, and basic necessities to people in our community who need them most. Right now, we are urgently seeking winter gear, personal care items, and plus-size clothing, which are often the hardest items to source.

Every donation — whether it’s one item or many — truly makes a difference. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this post helps just as much. 🫶

Back in November, BIANBA raised an incredible $1,326.67 through our fundraiser at Boston Pizza , and we couldn’t be more thankful for the support that made it all possible.
