🌳 Today is National Trails Day and our park is the perfect place to celebrate! We have three trails for you to choose from: Lookout Bluff, Oak Savannah, and Fin and Feather.

🪶 Lookout Bluff and Oak Savannah are easy, shorter trails, while Fin and Feather is a little longer and has some small hills. Check out our Instagram highlight “Trails” for more information!

🚵 The Turkey Point Mountain Biking Club multi purpose trails also run through our park! Remember to respect other bikers and hikers on the trail and follow the rules on these trails.

🌳 Visiting us? Here are a few ways to keep invasive species out of our park 👇

🪵 Buy your firewood from the park store. Invasive insects and other wildlife can hitch a ride in bags of wood.

🥾 Brush off your boots before hiking to reduce the spread of invasive species from your shoes.

🌱 Leave any live plants or cut flowers at home.

🚴‍♀️ Calling all mountain biking enthusiasts!‼️ Today is World Bicycle Day, so we’re highlighting the Turkey Point Mountain Biking trails !

🚵 There is over 90km of single track trails, some of which connect to our campground! Our park is the perfect place to camp for a mountain biking vacation.

🌲 The trails are very diverse, with varying levels of difficulty and lengths. There’s a trail for everyone, whether you’re a seasoned biker or just beginning!

⭐️ This week’s features one of the hardest working staff members in our park: Bob!

🌳 Bob is our Senior Operations Technician, which means he’s part of our enforcement team as well as our maintenance team. He wears many hats and wears them all well! 🧢

🐦‍⬛ Favourite animal in the park: American Woodcock (he even has a dance to match the Woodcock strut 🕺)!
🚘 Staff tip: Make sure everyone in your vehicle is seated and wearing a seatbelt in the park; the Highway Traffic Act applies to all park roads.

☀️ Calling all dedicated day users! Did you know we have summer and annual passes available for purchase? These passes let you enjoy free day use to over 100 provincial parks.

💻 They can also be used online to reserve day use permits for free in advance of your visit!

🏖️ The summer pass is valid from April 1, 2026 until November 30, 2026 and costs $84.75 after tax.

🌲 The annual pass is valid from January 1, 2026 until December 31, 2026 and costs $111.87 after tax.

Both of these permits can be purchased in-person at our gate house or online at reservations.ontarioparks.ca/store. Visit reservations.ontarioparks.ca/store for more information.
