🔍🌊 Welcome back to ! 🌊🔎

This week, we’re exploring a fascinating reminder of the park’s history - the abandoned alligator boat remains along the French River. 🐊🛶

Used at the turn of the 20th century to haul massive booms of timber down the mighty French and over land 🌲, these unique vessels played an important role in the logging industry 🪚.

Today, the weathered remains sit quietly along the shoreline, offering paddlers a glimpse into the river’s working past and the challenges faced by those who travelled here before us.

Have you spotted these remains on your travels? Share your favourite French River finds in the comments below 👇
