Please note that the rink will be closed on Friday, June 5 at 1:00p.m. to allow time for setup of the Community Garage Sale.

Make sure you're ready to vote!

To help ensure a smooth election process, municipalities are encouraging all eligible residents to confirm they’re properly registered to vote. Being on the voters list in previous elections does not guarantee to you are automatically included on the list for this election.

Recent legislative changes mean that Elections Ontario is now responsible for maintaining the voters’ list for municipal and school board elections (this was previously managed by MPAC). This update aims to improve consistency across the province.
What you should do:

🚫 No burn permits or fireworks permits will be issued at this time.
⚠️ All previously issued permits are now cancelled.
✅ Only small fires for cooking and warmth are permitted. Please ensure they are attended at all times and fully extinguished after use.

Please be advised that Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) will be conducting work resulting in a road closure at the train tracks on Woods Rd.

📅 Closure Dates:
• Starting: May 31, 2026 at 6:00 AM
• Reopening: June 1, 2026 at 6:00 PM

🚧 Road Work Notice – Blind Bay Road 🚧

Culvert replacement work will be taking place on Blind Bay Road over the next two weeks.

Blind Bay Road will remain open to traffic; however, motorists should expect delays while work is underway.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we continue working to maintain the quality and safety of our roads.
