https://www.instagram.com/niagaramilitaryheritagecentre/?hl=en The Niagara Military Heritage Centre (formerly known as the Lincoln and Welland Regiment Museum) has a mission that incorporates three main objectives:
1) To EDUCATE Canadians, with an emphasis on youth, about the role of The Lincoln and
Welland Regiment and the impact of military events in the development of Niagara and Canada, and its participation in international military and peacekeeping events.
2) To REMEMBER and honour the sacrifices of members of The Lincoln and Welland Regiment and its forebears at home and abroad in the defense of our nation and freedom by telling their stories and creating a Memorial.
3) To PRESERVE artifacts and archival material of the military and peacekeeping history of Niagara and Canada, with an emphasis on The Lincoln and Welland Regiment.
*** UPDATE: While we focus on building the Niagara Military Heritage Centre, we will not have a gallery open to the public. However, we will still be accepting donations at our new location. Still want to view our collection? No problem, a selection from our collection will be out on display at temporary locations and events throughout the Niagara region. Check in with our social media accounts and our website to discover where our collection will be on display.
