Celebrate Canada Day safely, Niagara Falls! ๐ŸŽ† ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ

With the upcoming Canada Day holiday on Wednesday, July 1, we wanted to share an important reminder about the City's fireworks by-law to help protect and ensure everyone has a safe and happy holiday.

โœ” Fireworks must stay on your own property
โœ” Written permission is required if youโ€™re not the property owner
โœ” Only permitted during certain days and hours (check the by-law for details)
โœ” Fines apply if you break the rules. All safety rules can be found on our website.

Fireworks can be fun and exciting but also dangerous and can cause damage to property or individuals, if not used properly.

โ„น๏ธ For full details, instructions, and safety tips while using fireworks, visit niagarafalls.ca/fireworks.

Water Disruption: Please be advised that a water service repair is required on Woodgate Street.

Due to the extensive restoration work that must be undertaken to repair the water service, Woodgate Street may experience lane restrictions between Dorchester Road and Woodington Road.

There will be Emergency access. Water disruptions are not expected.
This repair has an expected duration of approximately 6 hours.

The water may be slightly discoloured and off tasting after the repair. This will disappear shortly after resuming use of the water. Running your cold water tap only, will help resolve the problem.

The City of Niagara Falls will make every effort to minimize the restoration time and we appreciate your patience. For further details please contact the Niagara Falls Service Centre at 905-356-1355.
