Grief Art Camp offers children and teens experiencing grief a safe and creative space to express themselves, connect with others, and honour their special person.

This half day, week long camp gives children and young adults the opportunity to express their grief through art making and fun group activities. Together, they’ll learn ways to better cope with their loss, navigate the ups and downs of grief, and honour their special person.

This year’s camp theme is Great Artists, with projects inspired by Van Gogh, Monet, Picasso, and more.

July 6 to 10 | Ages 6 to 12 | 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

June is Seniors Month, and this year's theme, Ontario Seniors - Let's Get Moving, celebrates the many ways older adults stay active, engaged, and connected within our communities.

Throughout the month, we are bringing this theme to life through a variety of activities and events across our programs. From Wellness Wednesdays at CF Shops at Don Mills and special activities at our Seniors Active Living Centres, to meal tastings, letters across generations, and other activations, we support Seniors in staying active, connected, and engaged.

We are grateful to have been one of the Top 3 finalists at this year’s Catering for a Cause event where Margaret Bahen Hospice received $5,000 in support of hospice care and grief support services in our community.

Thank you to A Million Mouthfuls Catering and Neighbour Media for hosting such a beautiful evening filled with food and community engagement. One of the most impactful parts of the evening was the opportunity to connect with community members, supporters, families, and advocates who shared personal stories and experiences connected to our Hospice.

Thank you to everyone who nominated and voted for Margaret Bahen Hospice. We are honoured to have been part of this special evening alongside Victim Services York and Rose of Sharon.
