Great news! There’s still time to recognize an outstanding local business. The nomination deadline for the 2026 New Westminster Business Excellence Awards has been extended to September 30th. Submit your nomination today and help celebrate business excellence in our community.

✅ Nominees must be New Westminster Chamber members in good standing by September 14, 2026. Businesses/organizations must operate in New Westminster, hold a valid business licence, and have no outstanding City compliance issues for at least 12 months before nomination.
✅ Businesses can nominate themselves! If your business has made an impact, this is your chance to put it forward. However, judging committee members and previous award winners are not eligible.
✅ Nominees may enter a maximum of two award categories.
✅ Ensure your nomination form is complete and accurate. The Chamber reserves the right to verify the information provided.

Our Board Chair - Karima Jivraj met with Minister Jennifer Whiteside to discuss tariffs, the provincial government’s response, and the concerns and challenges facing our local business community.

These conversations are an important part of our advocacy work at the Chamber. We bring the perspectives of local businesses to the table, advocate for a strong business environment, and help build a connected and thriving business community.
