The New Westminster Chamber of Commerce was pleased to attend the BC Chamber of Commerce AGM & Conference in Fort St. John last week!

Bringing together chamber leaders, business voices, and policymakers from across the province, the conference offered a valuable opportunity to connect, share insights, and help shape priorities for BC’s business community. Special thanks to Minister Ravi Kalhon, MLA George Anderson, Enbridge, Angie Whitfield, Mandy Assi, Keith Baldrey for taking the time to engage with New West Chamber Chair Karima Jivraj and former board member Alysia Ker.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to represent New Westminster at the provincial level, strengthen relationships with our peers, and bring forward the perspectives of our local business community.

We brought the best tropical island vibes to May Business & Bevies last Friday at the Quayside Tiki Bar!

Set against the stunning Fraser River waterfront, the evening was the perfect mix of sunshine, great food, refreshing drinks, and even better company. We were also thrilled to celebrate the incredible community spirit of the 2026 Hyack International Parade, organized by the Hyack Festival Association—one of New Westminster’s most iconic traditions.

From new connections to meaningful conversations, the night was all about bringing our business community closer together! Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make it such a fun and memorable evening—we can’t wait to do it again next month at Costco Business Centre (Queensborough)!

Thank you to everyone who joined us as we shared updates on the Chamber’s work over the past year, welcomed our new Board members, and shared our vision for the future.
