🌞 Positive Thinking Day: Holding on to Hope

A positive attitude doesn't mean ignoring life's challenges. For many seniors facing housing insecurity, the stress, uncertainty, and fear of potential homelessness are very real.
But positive thinking can mean believing that support is available, that challenges can be overcome, and that brighter days are possible.
Today we're reminding older adults that they don't have to face these struggles alone. Our team is here to help navigate barriers, connect people with resources, and work together toward safe, stable housing.

Can you help? Urgent need for pet-friendly apartment rental for seniors.
A senior client of ours is currently sleeping in her car with her dog after fleeing an abusive relationship. Her dog is now her only companion and an important source of comfort as she rebuilds her life.
We are urgently seeking landlords who may have pet-friendly rental housing available for seniors in our community.

When the devastating Fourth Avenue apartment fire in New Westminster displaced approximately 30 seniors, our team stepped in to help them navigate the difficult journey from crisis to recovery. From replacing lost ID to securing benefits and housing supports, we're continuing to help rebuild lives one step at a time.
