Join us for a free walking tour of the public art in downtown New Westminster, led by local curator, Jas Lally. The tour will take place outdoors, rain or shine so please be prepared for the weather. The group will meet at the front entrance of Anvil Centre and proceed from there.

Attendees will receive a tote bag made from recycled public art street banners!

Each class includes 1, 2, 5, & 10 minute warm ups, three 30-minute poses and limited instruction. Open to all who are interested in working from the human form. Easels, drawing boards and clips, and newsprint provided. Bring mark-making materials, paper or canvas. Only odour-free solvents in the studio. Instructor: Flavia Chan

Join us for a free clothed model life drawing session. A life drawing resource guide will be available for all participants and a facilitator will be on hand to time poses. Start with some quick warm-up poses then move to longer 30 minute poses. Easels, drawing boards, clips, newsprint and some basic drawing supplies will be provided. Also, enjoy our Art Station where participants can make colourful, posable figures and marionettes to take home.
(ALSO - Downtown's Living Room will run Monday nights at 5:30 PM. This is your chance to stay cool this summer. Beat the heat: come hang out, relax, make new friends and enjoy different activities on offer—everyone welcome!)
