A community is richer when everyone feels like they belong.

Belonging is a basic human need and it’s essential to a thriving .

We all want to feel safe, included, and connected in the community. But for many, that’s not the reality. Some members of Waterloo Region still face exclusion, hate, and harm simply because of who they are.

We all belong here is a community-wide effort to change that. Led by 30+ community partners – from community groups and organizations to school boards and municipalities – we’re taking action to build a more inclusive, welcoming community.

We encourage everyone to pledge no hate, to report it when you see it or experience it, and to seek support if you experience harm.

Let’s work together to create a community where everyone is encouraged to be their true selves and celebrated for who they are.

Thank you to all for everything you do. While campaigning, I heard so many stories about how classrooms have changed and how underfunding education has affected the students and the people that work with them. The rise in leaves and people leaving the profession needs to be better understood by parents, the community and government.
