Planning some spring clean up? While burning brush is legal.... burning garbage or household waste is not. Open burning must always follow provincial rules.

Burning waste releases harmful pollutants and increases wildfire risk.

✅Check daily burn restrictions.
✅Burn only approved materials.
❌Never burn household waste.
✅Fires must be attended at all times.

Help protect our communities and the environment. Learn more about safe burning here https://www.princeedwardisland.ca/en/topic/burning
