Good news for book lovers in Procter and Harrop!

You can now order books from the Nelson Public Library and pick them up at the G.A. Reid Library in Procter - no trip to Nelson required!

Just place a hold online or call Nelson Public Library. When your book is ready, call 250-352-6333 and ask staff to send it to the G.A. Reid Library.

You can return your NPL books there, too - and there are no late fees.

Emily recommends... 'A Good Person' by Kirsten King

I * think * this is the sort of book where you're supposed to dislike the main character - she's a messy, obsessive narcissist who makes ALL the wrong decisions... and yet she and her increasingly disastrous life make for a compelling read, and her acerbic inner monologue is often laugh-out-loud funny.

I laughed, gasped, and thoroughly enjoyed this dark and compulsive page-turner.
