The Nanton Quality of Life Foundation mandate is to ensure that residents of the Town of Nanton and surrounding rural areas who need intervention, assistance, advocacy, skills, or support to improve their quality of life are supported to achieve that goal. Any person residing in the community of Nanton and surrounding area is eligible to seek services from the Foundation.

Welcome to September from the Nanton Quality of Life Foundation! 🌻 Please note that our office will be closed on Monday, September 7 in observance of Labour Day. 💛

Join us on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at the Tom Hornecker Recreation Centre as we come together for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. 🧡 Adrian Goulet from Mahegun Tails will lead a meaningful, interactive drumming and singing session sharing Indigenous knowledge, values, and traditions. Families are warmly welcomed to take part in an informal drumming circle with the Nanton Native Learning Circle. 🪘 Drums will be provided, but please make sure to pre-register! ✨

You can also support the Nanton Native Learning Circle by picking up one of their beautiful orange t-shirts for $25. 🧡 All proceeds directly support local programmes and initiatives. Send an email to [email protected] to order yours!

The Better Together Community Shuttle is now officially up and running in Nanton! 🚌✨

We are thrilled to help neighbours connect, visit local shops, and access important services across town. 🤝🛍️

Hop on and hop off all day for just $2 per person! 🎟️ The shuttle runs two days per month starting at 10:00 a.m., with the first pick-up at Silver Willow Lodge. 🕒📍 Stops take place approximately every 10 minutes at locations throughout Nanton, including Home Hardware, The Hive, Dairy Queen, Fresh Mart, CIBC and New Family Pharmacy, the Bomber Command Museum, the Library, Nanton Health Clinic, Kozy Korner, and more. 🗺️

Whether you need to pick up groceries, attend an appointment, or meet a friend for coffee, we are here to help you get around. ☕🛒
