Well Nanaimo!

What an incredible CAMpaign 2026! Tomorrow (Saturday), October 17th, is municipal Election Day in Nanaimo!🗳️

I’ve had the pleasure of speaking with thousands of community members across Nanaimo the last few months. People have shared with me how the local affordability crisis is impacting them directly, and how they would like the next Nanaimo City Council to act with urgency to address the cost of living in our community.

As your Nanaimo City Councillor, I will work to cut building permit wait times, so that we can create more good living-wage jobs building public and affordable housing in Nanaimo.

Huge shoutout to my incredible team of volunteers and everyone who donated! You made my CAMpaign possible, and I am so grateful for your support!

Nanaimo is full of people who are engaged and care deeply about our community, and I would be honoured to serve you as your Nanaimo City Council for the next four years.

My Grandpa is one of my biggest inspirations to make a positive difference for people in our community.

When I first told him that I was going to run for Nanaimo City Council, he told me: “don’t forget about seniors.” I promised him that I wouldn’t.

When I worked in the constituency offices of two federal Members of Parliament (MPs), as well as a BC Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) and Cabinet Minister, I encountered far too often seniors who were living in their cars, because they are living on a single-fixed income, and the cost of living has out-paced their pensions, such as CPP, OAS, GIS and CPP-Disability.

It’s not right.

People deserve to know that when they work hard all their lives that they can have a warm place to call home and retire with dignity.

I will never forget about Nanaimo’s seniors, and as your Nanaimo City Councillor I will act with urgency to build public and affordable homes for seniors and all residents of our community.

As a former BC Ferries worker, it’s an honour to have the support of Eric McNeely, President of the BC Ferry & Marine Workers' Union in my CAMpaign for Nanaimo City Council.

I will always support Nanaimo’s ferry workers and unionized labour.

NDDLC Endorsement!

I’m honoured to have the endorsement of the Nanaimo Duncan and District Labour Council (NDDLC)! I will always stand up for workers and their families.

As your Nanaimo City Councillor, I will oppose any privatization attempts regarding services at the City of Nanaimo and the Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN). I will work to strengthen our local economy and create more good living wage jobs in Nanaimo.
