Join us for the Township of Georgian Bay’s Repair Café on:

Our amazing volunteers will help repair and revive household items, keeping usable goods out of the landfill and giving them a second chance at life. 🌎💚

🔥 Fire Rating Update – HIGH 🔥

The Township of Georgian Bay Fire and Emergency Services, alongside the rest of the District of Muskoka Fire Departments, has moved the fire danger rating to HIGH.

With warmer temperatures, dry conditions, and increasing wildfire risk, extra caution is needed across our communities and waterways. 🌲☀️

Please remember:
• Burn Permits are not issued during High or Extreme fire danger ratings.
• Only small campfires are permitted for cooking or warmth, thankfully the beautiful weather will not warrant fires for warmth this weekend.
• Keep water and tools for extinguishment nearby at all times
• No Fireworks are permitted during high.

A small spark can travel faster than a summer storm across dry brush and forested areas. Please help us keep Muskoka and Georgian Bay safe.
