We support 500+ young people in Muskoka every year, but they aren’t always the ones who reach out.

Sometimes it’s a parent who is seeing their child struggle, and isn’t sure which supports or local services are available to help.

The mental health system is tough to navigate, especially when you’re trying to find the right supports for a young person you care about. That’s why our Mental Health Navigators are here – for you and your child.

Whether we’re putting together a list of options or gathering information, we care about finding a good match for every young person who needs mental health support.

Our services are available to young people aged 29 years and under. If you or a young person you care about needs support, reach out to us:

Our youth services just got a big boost, thanks to a $20,000 donation from The ‘Scotty’ Charity Golf Tournament through the Parry Sound – Muskoka Community Fund! 🥳

The Parry Sound – Muskoka Community Fund is working to address the pressing needs of our communities, including mental health and well-being, and Member of Parliament Scott Aitchison championed these raised funds to do just that. Together, they have chosen MiND-AID to use those dollars to reach and support even more youth across the region.

MiND-AID does not receive any ongoing core funding for our operations, so this significant financial contribution helps us continue to support young people in our communities.

In the near future, we hope to be able to expand our Mental Health Navigation Services and Mobile Youth Wellness Hub into Parry Sound. While we’re not quite there yet, contributions like this are what will make it possible.

Thank you to MP Scott Aitchison for this incredible donation of $20,000 to help MiND-AID with ongoing support to our youth in Muskoka.

There’s still time to get tickets for the Fundraiser Dinner and Silent Auction hosted by local charity Legacy for Alex!

Come and enjoy a great meal and silent auction that raises money for youth in Muskoka, including MiND-AID Muskoka, Alex’s Place, and the Gravenhurst High School Bursary.

We appreciate everything the Kerswell family does to support young people in Muskoka while honouring the memory of their son, Alex. They are long-time supporters of MiND-AID and help young people access the supports they need through our navigation services.

Our Mobile Youth Hub is gearing up for another busy season!

We had a ton of fun last year travelling throughout Muskoka – and we can’t wait to do it again this year! And we love that our Mobile Hub is wrapped in an awesome design by local Emily Lakatos.

Here’s a little throwback to yourTV Muskoka’s feature on Emily and the inspiration for her design.

A student at Huntsville High School was selected as the winner of the design the hub contest for Mind-Aid Muskoka.

Our Mobile Hub is out and about, doing cool things in the community!

Like hanging out with young people who are part of the Youth Adult Centre (YAC) at Gravenhurst Against Poverty. A few weeks ago, Kelly showed the youth how to do alcohol ink on tiles and the youth got to design their own unique buttons to take home.

We had so much fun and can’t wait to head back there soon!

Oh no! Our online donation form seems to be a little glitchy.

A few folks told us they weren’t able to make donations using our online CanadaHelps donation form. Although it seems to be working again, we really hope we don’t miss out on donations from caring people in our community because of a technical issue. If you’ve been trying to make a donation and experienced an issue, please let us know!

And fun fact: we also accept donations by e-transfer! Donations can be sent to [email protected], even if our online form goes wonky! 🤪
