Today, we remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and everyone whose life was forever changed by the events of that day.

Here in Newfoundland and Labrador, more than 13,000 passengers and crew arrived aboard diverted flights. Across our province, Newfoundlanders and Labradorians opened their schools, community centres, homes and hearts to strangers in need, showing the incredible power of community during an unimaginable time

Twenty-five years later, we honour those who were lost and remember the extraordinary compassion shown throughout our province. We will never forget.
