Admiralty House Communications Museum Located in scenic Mount Pearl, NL , Admiralty House Communications Museum was originally constructed in 1914 by the Marconi Telegraph Co.

during World War I as the top secret H.M. Wireless Station for the British Royal Navy. Admiralty House shares the history of HM Wireless Station, the once top-secret First World War naval communications base that the museum is housed in, and its connection to First World War communications, the SS Florizel disaster, and Mount Pearl. The museum offers exhibits, programs, and events regularly throug

h the year. If you have a community or youth group who would like to book a tour or activity, please contact our office. Our board room is available for rent for small gatherings and functions while our spacious and beautiful back garden can be rented for weddings. Visitors can expect temporary and traveling exhibits throughout the year, as well as programs, workshops, and events in partnership with the Association for the Arts in Mount Pearl.

🚨 BIG ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

Have you ever wanted to witness history in the making? Well, now is your chance as we will be temporarily closing for major renovations that will include updates to ALL of the exhibits! Keep an eye on our socials for updates and news about our grand re-opening. 😉

We will be officially closed to the public as of 5:00pm on August 31st, so if you want to see the current exhibits as they are one last time, time is running out. We are open 10am to 5pm on August 30th and 31st.

Late last year, a kid looked up at Emily with all the wisdom of someone decades older than themselves, and said without blinking "you know, I think James Pearl was the inspiration for Kpop Demon Hunters."
Emily asked, "What makes you say that?"

Come visit Admiralty House Communications Museum at the Hold Fast Art Crawl! Try your hand at helping pigeons fly down the runway (it’s co****le, but PIGEON co****le. Pigeonhole) and learn how to tie some nautical knots.

Admiralty House Communications Museum is a small not-for-profit museum dedicated to preserving their building’s history as a secret First World War wireless station, and the history of Mount Pearl as a whole.
