This will be my last post on this page! I want to congratulate the successful candidates in the Mount Pearl Municipal Election. I also want to thank the 2,639 residents who voted for me. I put my integrity on the line and ran on my own accord and had a clean campaign to be a voice for the citizens! I personally want to thank the residents for all the great conversations at the doors. As promised during my campaign I will be compiling a list of your concerns and sending it to the new Council.

This was my last door I knocked tonight! I have thoroughly enjoyed each and every conversation at the doors! I would like to thank all my volunteers for supporting me on my journey! I greatly appreciate it! I have learned so much during this campaign and is forever grateful! At this time I would like to thank my mom and my daughter, Sarah for their encouragement and support!

With all the questions via e-mail, messenger and door to door today I feel that I owe my views about the brochure that residents received today in their mailboxes! I am truly disappointed and disgusted by whoever is behind using the Mount Pearl City logo and attempt to disgrace the integrity of candidates! We are all working hard during this campaign and have the interests of the City and the residents at heart. I would hope that the person or people behind this low tactic be held accountable for their actions.

If anyone has received a mailer with city of MP logo on it, asking people to vote for new candidates/change - this is not from Denise, she knew nothing about it, and not Denise's style of campaigning.
