🐿️ A Reminder from Your Pest Control Officer 🐿️
Spring is on the way, and with warmer weather and longer days comes the return of the Richardson Ground Squirrel — commonly known as gophers.
Gophers typically begin to emerge from late February to mid-March, with males appearing about two weeks before females.
Even though it may not feel like spring just yet now is the ideal time to put bait out before gophers emerge. Having bait available early—before other food sources appear—gives you the best chance to effectively reduce the population.
Baits are available through local Co-ops and other ag centres.

Hello All !!

Back in April 2024, I was asked by RM 102 Council to help out temporarily with the Administrative duties for a couple months.

Those couple months have now turned into 17 months.

I have thoroughly enjoyed meeting many of the ratepayers of RM 102 as they stopped by the office to buy water, buy maps, or to pay taxes.

However, my time spent at RM 102 has put me seriously behind on my stock market trading, newsletter writing, and book publishing activities...not to mention my beer brewing and distilling adventures.

For this reason, I can no longer help out at RM 102. When Council hires a new Admin person in the next while, I trust you will afford him the same courtesy that you showed me over the past 17 months.
