With very few residents and the nearest hospital a considerable drive, emergencies here depend on whoever is closest. This guide, provided by Substance Use Prevention Education, gives that person the steps to respond to an overdose in the first critical minutes.

An overdose is a medical emergency where quick action matters. You do not need medical training to respond: recognise the signs, call 9-1-1, and use naloxone. This step-by-step guide covers what to do in those critical minutes, including how to support breathing and what to watch for after naloxone.

We want to take a moment to say a big thank you to Brent Kabrud for his many years of service to the Town of Mossbank.

Brent worked for the Town for 13 years, and even in retirement, he continues to be a valuable source of knowledge whenever we have questions about how something was done, where something is, or just about anything else!

Brent, we truly appreciate the time, hard work, knowledge, and dedication you gave to our community over the years. Thank you for everything you have done for the Town of Mossbank.
