It is with deep sadness but thankful hearts that we report that the body Tasha Mercedes Ferland has finally been found. For more than 5 agonizing months her family has suffered the unimaginable. Our prayers for their healing continue as we remember the truly wonderful teams and people that searched tirelessly throughout this journey!

We want to thank you all for your thoughts and prayers of support. We also want to thank the RCMP URT and our friend FN Chief Heidi Cooke and her entire staff for their leadership and care shown to not only the suffering families but also us searchers every step of the way. To the firefighters, Billy Buck, Ralph, Sam as well as Prince Albert Grand Council SAR team, Casdda - Canadian Search and Disaster Dogs Association and all other search teams not mentioned here for your incredible perseverance and dedication!

We also want to say a special thank you to our now dear friends at Manitoba Hydro Grand Rapids Power Generating Station especially Kristen Heintz for caring for all our needs as well as going above and beyond every reasonable request to help especially with the flow of water through the dam. Your hospitality towards us will never be forgotten!!

May God bless you all for your efforts of caring love!

SIMAD 2026 was a huge success with a record turnout of Fire Departments and Emergency personnel from across the province and beyond in Selkirk, MB!

Super Grateful for the opportunity to speak and demonstrate our technology and underwater robots for SAR.

A huge Thank You to the sponsors and organizers for putting on such invaluable event!! This does SO much for team building, networking and collaboration of our amazing Emergency Response Organizations!!

A terrific evening at the Altona Rhineland Emergency Response Mutual Aid Open House!
Together with the Altona Plum Coulee Police, Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Manitoba, Emergency Management Organization (EMO), Altona Rhineland Fire & Rescue, Altona Rhineland Emergency Services and Napier Emergency Consulting (NEC) we connected with many wonderful folks and had meaningful conversations about our collective local emergency resources.

What an incredible night in Morris! 🏒❤️
We are beyond grateful to share that our charity hockey game was a huge success — raising over $4,000 in support of HEART Team and the work we do in underwater search and recovery.

A heartfelt thank you to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Manitobaand the Pembina Valley Twisters for putting on such an entertaining and meaningful game. Your support means more than words can express.

A very special thank you to Gilles Gravelle (RCMP) and Pat Schmitke from Morris Bigway for organizing this amazing event and making it all come together so seamlessly — we truly appreciate your dedication and effort.

And to the entire town of Morris and surrounding communities — your incredible support, generosity, and turnout made this night unforgettable. We are humbled and encouraged by the strength of this community. Congrats to Thomas Hiebert and Marcel for winning the silent auction canvases!

Today I had the great honour and opportunity to speak at the MKO’s Emergency Management Chiefs Assembly about our work with HEART and our vision of empowering, equipping, and training First Nations teams for underwater Search and Rescue!

We feel the message was well received and look forward to working closely together with Manitoba Keewatinowi Okimakanak Grand Chief Garrison Settee and his entire team to make this project a reality in the near future!
