The nominations are in, and my campaign is officially underway!

Iโ€™m proud to be seeking a third term as Mayor of North Dundas.

I was born in Wi******er, raised in Chesterville, and Amy and I have lived in Wi******er for 38 years, where we raised our daughter. I've also been fortunate to spend much of my life working, volunteering and serving right here in our community.

My service over the years has included two terms as Mayor, two terms as Councillor, two terms on SDG County Council and a term as SDG Warden, along with 23 years with North Dundas Fire Services, 15 of those as Deputy Chief. I've also spent the past 38 years working at Lactalis Canada in Wi******er.

That experience matters, particularly when there is important work already underway.

We've made significant progress on water and wastewater infrastructure, recreation and community facilities, growth and development, and bringing senior government investment into North Dundas. There is more to do, and I want to keep that momentum going.

That means continuing the conversations and relationships I've built with Provincial and Federal leaders and our neighbouring municipalities. It means continuing to work toward a long-term water solution, investing responsibly in our infrastructure, supporting our local businesses and managing growth while maintaining the rural character that makes North Dundas home.

This election also marks a new chapter for me. After 38 years of shift work, if re-elected I plan to retire from my full-time career and dedicate my full professional focus to serving North Dundas as Mayor.

Four terms at the Council table. Eight years as Mayor. Decades of service to North Dundas.

I'm ready to build on the progress we've made, keep important projects moving and continue working to make North Dundas a great place to live, work and raise a family.

As always, Iโ€™ll be out and about in our community at local events, having conversations and answering questions. Iโ€™m always available to residents and, with door knocking starting soon, I look forward to even more opportunities to chat, listen and earn your support.

Want a lawn sign? I'm getting my list ready now! Send me your name and address:

I look forward to earning your support.

The 2026 Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) Conference was a great opportunity to represent North Dundas and, just as importantly, to sit down face-to-face with the Ministers and decision-makers who ultimately determine where provincial funding goes.

Over the past few days, we had the opportunity to make our case directly on priorities that matter to our community, from an MRI at Wi******er District Memorial Hospital, to improvements to the Henderson Creek Municipal Drain, arena renovations, and important conversations about water and infrastructure.

And while the formal meetings are important, so is the networking that happens between them. Building relationships, having conversations and making sure North Dundas is known and remembered when funding decisions are being made is a big part of the job.

A busy few days, but a very worthwhile conference for North Dundas. Iโ€™m proud to be at the table advocating for our community and making sure our priorities are heard.

A busy night in North Dundas! Iโ€™m rushing from the opening ceremonies at the Chesterville Fair, where weโ€™re looking forward to an awesome weekend, then to Meet Me on Main Street in Hallville at the new Brian Telford Community Park.

Two great community events, lots of great people and another reason I love this community! See you here, or there!

It was great to be at the ribbon cutting last night for the 134th South Mountain Fair! ๐ŸŽก

A special tribute to Lynn Boyd, a former Fair President and long-time supporter and fan of the Fair, was followed by Joyce Boyd cutting the ribbon to officially kick things off.

Thanks to Mountain Township Agriculture Society President Teresa Palmer, SDG Warden Frank Landry, MP Eric Duncan and Executive Members for joining us.

The Fair officially opens today. Wishing all the volunteers and organizers a great weekend with good weather, lots of fun and big crowds! Hope to see you there! ๐Ÿ‘โ˜€๏ธ

Thereโ€™s a lot happening in our communities tonight, this weekend and in the weeks ahead- fairs, sports, music, art, plays, family activities and plenty of opportunities to get together and have some fun!

But behind every one of these events are ๐˜ƒ๐—ผ๐—น๐˜‚๐—ป๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜€, ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ด๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ถ๐˜‡๐—ฒ๐—ฑ ๐—ฐ๐—น๐˜‚๐—ฏ๐˜€, ๐—ด๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐˜‚๐—ฝ๐˜€ ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐—ฐ๐—ผ๐—บ๐—บ๐—ถ๐˜๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฒ๐˜€ who make it all happen.

Theyโ€™re the ones planning, organizing, setting up, serving food and drinks, keeping things running smoothly, entertaining us, helping keep everyone safe and making sure thereโ€™s something for everyone to enjoy.
