Members of the North Dundas Fire Service took part in the OPP Crime Stoppers Hockey Tournament in Morrisburg.

The team had a strong showing, winning 3 out of 4 games and advancing to the A Finals, where they faced off against Hawkesbury OPP.

Warmer temperatures have resulted in soft ice conditions. The rink is temporarily closed until further notice. We kindly ask to stay off the ice, and that dogs stay off the ice too.

Santa and Morewood Station 1 would like to thank the community with their donations on Christmas Eve ! We were able to collect 209 lbs of food and 300$ for the Food Share in Wi******er .

MOREWOOD FIREFIGHTERS SERVE UP TRADITION AT ANNUAL FAMILY BREAKFAST

MOREWOOD – Firefighters from North Dundas Fire Station 1 in Morewood provided a full course delicious and nutritious meal, featuring eggs, ham, sausage, home fries, toast and refreshments during the morning of Sat., Nov. 15. For over 25 years, the Firefighter Family Breakfast has provided guests with a full course breakfast, the opportunity to meet the firefighters, learn about fire safety while visiting with friends and neighbours at the Morewood Recreation Centre. Funds raised from the event will be used for repairs at the community ice rink. A table full of information with an emphasis on smoke detectors and the importance of testing it as well as fire safety “swag” was located to the back of the hall for people to purchase.

Ken Byers, Fire Chief of North Dundas Fire Station 1, wished to thank the community for their continued support as well as Wi******er Foodland and Watters Financial in North Dundas for their generous donations to the event.
