A reminder that the City of Morden Voters List is open for changes or revisions in accordance with Section 36 of The Municipal Councils and School Boards Election Act. The deadline for changes to the Voters List is September 22nd, 2026.

If you’re unsure whether your name is on the voters list, or would like to request a change to the voters list, please contact [email protected]

If your name is not on the voter's list and you would like it added, head to morden.ca/election to complete the online form.

On Election Day, if your name remains unlisted you can still vote by declaring your eligibility and showing ID at the polling location.

A reminder to candidates that nominations will be received for the offices of Mayor and (6) Councillors for the City of Morden from September 16 to September 22 between the hours of 9:00AM – 4:30PM at the City of Morden Civic Centre office.

The nomination deadline is September 22, 2026 at 4:30 P.M. Nominations cannot be accepted after this day. It is to be noted that this is also the deadline for the filing of candidate registrations.

All nominations shall be made in writing on the prescribed form and shall be signed by not less than 25 eligible voters of the authority. Each nomination must also be accompanied by the candidate's declaration of qualification.

Nominations may be filed in person at the above location, on the dates and hours specified, by an agent, by email to the SEO or by faxing to 204-822-6494.

Nomination papers not accompanied by the required documents or not properly filed will be rejected.

We regret to announce that the public hearing scheduled for this Thursday, September 10th at 7pm at the Civic Centre has been cancelled. We will reschedule this public hearing for the soonest possible date.

This cancellation is due to a newspaper publication error beyond our control that resulted in inadequate advertising being provided for the hearing in accordance with the requirements set out by the Municipal Act.

The City of Morden is seeking a dedicated and qualified individual to join our team as a Water Plant Operator on a full-time, permanent basis.

Working under the direction of the Water Plant Supervisor, the Water Plant Operator is responsible for producing safe, potable water while meeting all regulatory requirements of the Province of Manitoba and the City’s Operating Permit. This role conducts daily laboratory testing, oversees treatment process controls, maintains plant equipment and infrastructure, installs water meters, and supports after-hours emergency responses.
