Morden Family Resource Centre We are a community resource centre providing free programming for preschool children and families.

I hope you all had a wonderful summer! Here is our September/October newsletter with fall programming. We have preschool aged programming available for ages 2-5 (welcome to kids in afternoon kindergarten) and their parents/caregivers. Still hard to believe Dolly passed away this week. If you would like to donate to Imagination Library as per Dolly's wishes, please support the kids of Western School Division! You can drop off a donation at the WSD office or donate online with our local Morden chapter to get books in the hands of children!

In 1995, Dolly Parton started mailing books to children in her home county to inspire children to love reading in honor of her Dad, who couldn’t read or write.

That idea lives here too. Every month, 150 children in Morden find a book in the mailbox — because of neighbors who fund it, volunteers who run it, and a woman from Sevier County, TN who started it all.

In 1995, Dolly Parton started mailing books to children in her home county to inspire children to love reading in honor of her Dad, who couldn’t read or write.
