Here’s a little glimpse at a few of the wonderful products that will be available at our craft fair this weekend. We have over 30 vendors attending so get a jump start on Christmas shopping or treat yourself to something special!
Don’t forget that we’ll have a canteen available In the MCC Centre with chili, chicken noodle soup, egg salad/ham and cheese sandwiches and a variety of desserts.
All proceeds from this sale help MFRC provide free programming for children and families in Moosomin.

Our annual Strokes and Stitches Craft Fair is taking place this Saturday and our canteen could use some baking donations to sell.
This is one of our main fundraisers to help fund MFRC programs. Please contact us through messenger if you’re able to donate.

We will be changing our Drop in Playtime session this week from Tuesday afternoon from 1-2:30 to Wednesday morning from 9:30-11:00 due to a last minute medical appointment.

Happy September Everyone! Here’s what happening at MFRC this month.
Our annual strokes and stitches craft sale is approaching and we are need of volunteers for the following:
Set up and take down of tables
Entry table workers
Baking to sell at our canteen. All baking is welcome but sheet cakes, pies and such are loved by those that purchase food.
This fundraiser allows us to keep offering all our great programs and your help is very much needed and appreciated.

MFRC would like to send out a huge thank you to this years amazing group of summer students. Rainn, Reese, Lia and Madi brought so much fun and energy to our program this year. It was a pleasure to work alongside you and we wish you all the best in the coming year!

Yesterday we had to follow clues to get through our MFRC escape room! We even had a dinosaur surprise us! Our afternoon was spent outside playing games and enjoying all our water and game stations.

Yesterday, Madi created a fun and engaging Maple Magic session 🍁On our trip to Quebec City this summer she discovered maple syrup on a stick and was excited to share it with the our MFRC kids. We then moved on to creating beautiful nature art work after going on a walk to collect some treasures.
Our afternoon was spent making some delicious smelling wax melts and enjoyed the sunshine outside☀️Community Initiatives Fund
