The 20th annual 800 CHAB Family First Radiothon is on the air from Temple Gardens Centre in downtown Moose Jaw in support of the Moose Jaw Health Foundation.

The radiothon continues today and Friday, with a goal of raising $150,000 to expand the chemotherapy unit at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital.

It’s always a privilege for our union to give back to projects that strengthen healthcare in our community.

Last night, MJFD crews responded to a house fire on the northwest side. Upon arrival, fire had already extended to both floors.

Following a knockdown, crews transitioned to an offensive attack. The fire was brought under control and successfully contained to the original structure.

Searches completed, No injuries were reported. Oscar the cat was located in the basement and is expected to make a full recovery. 🚒🔥😺
