Last night, Fire, Police and EMS responded to a single-vehicle collision involving a vehicle that struck a tree.

One passenger was transported to hospital by EMS.

Please use caution when passing emergency crews working along roadways.

Moose Jaw Fire, Police and EMS responded to a single-vehicle collision early this morning after a vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.

One patient was transported to hospital by EMS.

Thank you to all emergency personnel who responded and worked together at the scene.

This afternoon, Moose Jaw Fire Department crews responded to a residential structure fire on the south side of the city.

The fire originated at the rear of the home and had extended into the attic by the time crews arrived. Firefighters quickly brought the fire under control, preventing further spread, while completing both primary and secondary searches of the residence.

Two occupants were transported to hospital with severe burn injuries. Thankfully, no other injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

MJFD crews responded today to a house fire on the North Hill that started in the backyard. Upon arrival, the fire was being fueled by a natural gas line.
The fire was brought under control and successfully contained to the original structure. Primary and secondary searches were completed with no injuries reported. 😺

Single vehicle rollover on Highway 1 last night. The driver was transported to hospital with injuries. Thankfully, no other vehicles were involved. Please drive safe and always wear your seatbelt.

The 20th annual 800 CHAB Family First Radiothon is on the air from Temple Gardens Centre in downtown Moose Jaw in support of the Moose Jaw Health Foundation.

The radiothon continues today and Friday, with a goal of raising $150,000 to expand the chemotherapy unit at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital.

It’s always a privilege for our union to give back to projects that strengthen healthcare in our community.

Last night, MJFD crews responded to a house fire on the northwest side. Upon arrival, fire had already extended to both floors.

Following a knockdown, crews transitioned to an offensive attack. The fire was brought under control and successfully contained to the original structure.

Searches completed, No injuries were reported. Oscar the cat was located in the basement and is expected to make a full recovery. 🚒🔥😺

Fire investigation is underway.
