Our department is proud to introduce our new fire truck! This addition strengthens our emergency response capabilities and helps ensure we can continue providing the highest level of service to our community.

Be sure to give it a wave when you see it out and about!
It is replacing Engine 3.

🔥 FIRE PIT SAFETY REMINDER 🔥

Enjoy your fire pit safely and responsibly:

✅ Use outdoors only.
✅ Place on a non-combustible surface.
✅ Keep at least 6 metres (20 feet) from buildings, fences, trees, vehicles, and other combustible materials.
✅ Never leave a fire unattended.
✅ Keep children and pets a safe distance away.
✅ Have water or a fire extinguisher nearby.

🔥 Burn only clean, seasoned wood, charcoal, or approved fire logs.

🚫 Do NOT burn garbage, treated wood, yard waste, construction debris, or flammable liquids.

City Fire Pit Requirements:
• Fire pits must be made of non-combustible materials.
• A metal screen with openings no larger than 13 mm (½ inch) is required.
• Fires must be attended at all times.
• No outdoor fires during fire bans or restrictions.

🧯 Fully extinguish fires before leaving the area.

🚒 Throwback to our May fire hall tours!
We were delighted to welcome our Pre-K and Kindergarten visitors to the fire hall for a fun and educational experience. The students learned about fire safety, explored the fire trucks, met firefighters, and asked lots of great questions.

Thank you to the students, teachers, and chaperones who joined us. We loved sharing what we do and helping our youngest community members learn how to stay safe.
