We would like to thank everyone for an amazing summer at the Tunnels! Whether you are a first-time agent, a repeat bootlegger, or someone who just like spreading the word, you have helped make this a season to remember! We would also like to thank our amazing staff for all their hard work! They are the core of what we do here, and without them we wouldn’t be where we are today.

And while summer vacation may be at its end, there is still plenty to do year-round at the Tunnels! We can’t wait to see you!

After 26 years, it’s finally time to retire one of the most iconic parts of our Chicago Connection tour: Gus’ Door Slide. Through the years, the 10.5” it moves back and forth would travel over 1900 kilometers! As a token of appreciation for his many years of service, we presented this to our longest serving Gus, Calvin.

But don’t you worry, our new slide is already installed and ready for the next 26 years of bootlegging! A big thank you to Flash Welding for sliding behind the scenes and fabricating this for us!

Tim joined the Tunnels of Moose Jaw this March and quickly took on the roles of Cliff in Bunker 24 and Gus in The Chicago Connection! He loves the fun and friendly environment, loves being able to share our history with our guests from all over the world, and he also loves getting to play characters for work!

Brynn has been with the Tunnels of Moose Jaw almost a year and a half! Her favourite part of working here is the opportunity to take on many roles and that is just what she does! Taking our guests back in time in The Chicago Connection as F***y, Passage to Fortune as Mrs. Dawson, and welcoming guests as a member of our Ticket Office Staff!

We would like to wish a happy 110th birthday to the Mae Wilson Theatre! Opening on August 16th, 1916, as the Allen Theatre, it was the largest theatre in Saskatchewan! It quickly became Moose Jaw’s entertainment hub, showing films and hosting live entertainment. In 1922, it became The Capitol Theatre, and from 1983 until its closure in 2001, it was called The Capitol 3 Theatre after the theatre was divided into a movie-only triplex.

After an extensive restoration process in 2003, the Mae Wilson Theatre was opened as part of the Moose Jaw Centre for Arts & Culture. Named for a Moose Jaw resident who dedicated her life to the arts, the theatre continues that dedication to this day with countless live performances and movies every year.
