The Little Prince as told by Machiavelli combines these two enduring masterpieces, producing a charming and whimsical story of brutally pragmatic political realities, told with childlike wonder and ruthlessness! Join the Little Prince as he travels to different planets (those big flat disks in the sky that the sun revolves around), meeting funny new people and subjugating them! Watch as he cleverly employs Machiavellian techniques — flattery, treachery, blackmail, deceit — to exploit their flaws and establish his own iron-fisted rule. Through his enchanting adventures, the Little Prince explores issues that are close to the hearts of all little princes and little princesses:

* Should I always keep my promises?

* Is it better to be loved, or to be feared?

* Should I show gratitude to people who help me? Is it the same as that once used by the Roman Republic and the Aetolian League to eject Macedonian phalanxes from ancient Thessaly in the time of Titus Livius?

Capricornucopia is a production company formed by several writers whose birthdays all take place in late December or early January. Each year this group rents out the auditorium of the Atwater Library and invites friends to a joint birthday party. As entertainment for this goatstravaganza, each Capricorn writes a short play, which the guests perform onstage. This year, Capricornucopia brings one of these plays to the Fringe!

Le Roi/Le Géographe - Simon Pelletier

Fraîchement gradué du programme de Jeu à Concordia, Simon se lance tête première dans la tempête qu'est le théâtre. Ayant tombé en amour avec la comédie dès sa tendre adolescence, Simon n'a pas cessé de poursuivre son rêve. Ses quatre ans à Concordia lui ont donné une formation variée de tous les styles imaginables et lui ont donné les outils pour se construire un jeu raffiné, consciencieux et polyvalent. Simon a hâte de débuter sa deuxième saison de Fringe - et toute autre aventure qui suivra!
