A huge thank you to the Ontario Fire Academy for your support and assistance with our Mono Smoke Alarm Campaign! Your partnership and dedication to community safety helped make this initiative a success.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to the residents of the Fieldstone subdivision in Mono for welcoming our teams, engaging in great conversations, and allowing us the opportunity to help keep your homes and families safe.

Community safety starts with connection, education, and teamwork — and we are grateful to everyone who took the time to speak with us, ask questions, and ensure their smoke alarms are working properly. 🚒🏡❤️

The Town of Mono's operating authority will be performing hydrant flushing in the Cardinal Woods and Island Lake Drinking Water Systems starting Monday, May 18, 2026.

Due to sedimentation, the flushing may cause discolouration of the water. Please check your cold-water supply before using. If discolouration occurs, let the cold water run until it clears. The Town expects this preventative maintenance process to have minimal impact on residents.

If you have any questions, please reach out to the Water Department.
