The Codiac Regional RCMP is asking for the public's help locating a missing 17-year-old girl from Moncton, N.B.

Faith Daigle was last seen on June 7, 2026, near Snow Avenue in Moncton. She was reported missing to police on the same day. Police have followed up on several leads to try and locate her but have so far been unsuccessful. Police and her family are concerned for her wellbeing.

Faith Daigle is described as being approximately five foot five inches ( 165 centimeters) tall, and weighing approximately 125 pounds (57 kilograms). She has blue eyes, and purple hair. She was last seen wearing a grey top, green leggings and black and white Nike shoes.

The Codiac Regional RCMP is asking for the public's help in locating a missing 33-year-old woman from Moncton, N.B.

Diane Simons was last seen on June 8, 2026, at approximately 10:55 p.m. near the intersection of Mountain Road and Winter Avenue in Moncton, N.B. She was reported missing to police on June 10, 2026. Police have followed up on several leads to try and locate her but have so far been unsuccessful. Police and her family are concerned for her wellbeing.

Diane Simons is described as being approximately five feet four inches (163 centimetres) tall and weighing approximately 190 pounds (81 kilograms). She has brown eyes, black hair, a tattoo of a rose on her left hand and a tattoo of an eye on her left wrist. She was last seen wearing a grey hoodie, a dark purple jacket, black leggings, black and white sneakers, a black headband and carrying a baby blue backpack.

Last week was a busy one for the Codiac Regional RCMP, with 905 calls for service across Moncton, Dieppe, and Riverview. These calls included, but were not limited to:

•Property crimes (including theft and B&E) 109
•Crimes against persons 52
•Traffic collisions 15
•Traffic offences & violations 127
•Community presentations and engagement 42

Of those calls, 367 were non criminal in nature, including well being and wellness checks, assistance to partner agencies, missing persons files, mental health crisis interventions, noise complaints, and unwanted persons. These calls highlight the many ways our officers support the community every day.

We would also like to highlight our partners, the Codiac regional Citizens on Patrol, who conducted 41 patrols across the Greater Moncton Area last week, supporting our members through prevention efforts and by reporting suspicious activity.

The Codiac Regional RCMP continues to search for 28-year-old Jesse Bonnell, who is wanted by police. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the Codiac Regional RCMP at 506-857-2400.

The Codiac Regional RCMP is asking for the public’s help to locate a 28-year-old man who is wanted by police.

28-year-old Jesse Bonnell, from Moncton, N.B., is wanted by police for escaping lawful custody at a health institution. He was last seen on May 21, at approximately 9:05 p.m., on Macbeath Avenue, in Moncton.

Jesse Bonnell is described as being approximately five feet five inches (165 centimetres) tall and weighing approximately 159 pounds (72 kilograms). He has blue eyes, brown hair and a medium build. He a tattoo on his right forearm with “Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional”, a tattoo on his left forearm with barbwire, and a tattoo on the left side of his chest of a banner, a firearm and an army helmet. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and jeans.

If you see him, please do not approach him, and call 911 immediately.

A 55-year-old man from Moncton, N.B., has been charged following a large seizure of stolen property, prohibited weapons, drugs and money, in Moncton, N.B.

In January 2026, the Codiac Crime Reduction Unit-Property Crime (CRU-PC) began an investigation into stolen property in the Greater Moncton Area.

On June 2, at approximately 5 a.m., Codiac CRU-PC members, with the assistance from members of the Codiac Regional RCMP, Emergency Response Team, RCMP Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems, Digital Forensics Service, Police Dog Services, Codiac Criminal Intelligence Unit, the New Brunswick Integrated Enforcement Unit and Specialized Policing Services, executed a search warrant at a residence and property on Ronald Avenue, in Moncton.

To ensure public and officer safety, the New Brunswick RCMP’s Tactical Support Group was deployed along with external partners, including members of Justice and Public Safety, the Moncton Fire Department (Fire Prevention Division), the N.B. SPCA, N.B. Power and the N.B. Department of Environment. Équité Association, an expert in vehicle identification, also assisted with the ex*****on of the warrant.

During the search, police seized 26 stolen vehicles, 13 fi****ms and 4 prohibited weapons, approximately 1 kg of what is believed to be co***ne and Canadian currency. A 55-year-old man from Moncton was arrested at the scene and sustained minor injuries during his arrest. He was transported and treated in hospital. The Serious Incident Response Team (SIRT) has been engaged and is reviewing the incident.

Later that day, 55-year-old Kevin Trites appeared in Moncton Provincial Court and was charged 4 counts of possession of property obtained by crime. He was remanded into custody.

On June 5, 2026, Kevin Trites reappeared in Moncton Provincial Court and was charged with an additional 38 charges, including:

-25 counts of possession of property obtained by crime, over $5,000
-4 counts of weapons possession contrary to a court order and fail to surrender authorization
-3 counts of possession of weapon for dangerous purpose
-Trafficking in property obtained by crime over, $5,000
-Unauthorized possession of a firearm
-Unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon
-Unsafe storage of a firearm
-Possession of a firearm when knowing possession unauthorized
-Possession of a prohibited weapon when knowing possession unauthorized

He was again remanded into custody and will reappear in court for a bail hearing on June 11, 2026.

“This file will undoubtedly be one of the largest seizures of stolen property and one of the most complex investigations Codiac has ever undertaken,” said Staff Sergeant Nicolas Potvin from the Codiac Regional RCMP. “There has been tremendous work on this file over the past few months, with multiple units responding efficiently and working seamlessly together. The search warrant alone took three days to complete, and we are extremely pleased with the results.”

The public plays an important role in helping to reduce, prevent and solve crime. Anyone with information about, or who suspects, illegal activity in their neighbourhood is asked to contact their local police. The Codiac Regional RCMP is asking for the public’s help following a break, enter and theft of a vehicle in Moncton, N.B.

The break, enter and theft is believed to have occurred on June 5, 2026, at approximately 2 a.m. at a residence in Moncton. An individual broke into the residence, took a set of car keys and stole the associated vehicle.

The vehicle is described as a black 2015 Nissan Pathfinder, with New Brunswick’s licence plate KIC 392 and vehicle identification number 5N1AR2MM6FC693971. A photo of the vehicle is currently not available.

Anyone who may have information that could help further the investigation is asked to contact the Codiac Regional RCMP at 506-857-2400.
