🌟 MCRI at the NAAW Accessibility Expo 🌟
We were proud to attend CCRW’s NAAW Accessibility Expo: Empowering Communities today at Venn Innovation in recognition of National Accessibility Week.
This incredible event brought together community members and organizations who are all working toward the same goal—creating a more inclusive and accessible community for individuals with disabilities.

We would like to extend a sincere thank you to CCRW for the opportunity to participate and connect with so many dedicated community partners. It was inspiring to learn about the valuable resources and supports available, and to engage in meaningful conversations about inclusion and accessibility.

At MCRI, we are grateful to be part of a strong network of organizations committed to supporting individuals with disabilities and helping everyone reach their full potential. 💙

MCRI attended the 35th Annual Legislative Lunch in Fredericton today as part of Disability Awareness Week in New Brunswick.

This important event brought together cabinet ministers, senior government officials, service providers, and disability advocates for meaningful conversations and presentations on the issues impacting people living with disabilities across our province.

We were honoured to hear from Rick Hansen, Canadian track and field athlete, activist, and philanthropist, who presented on behalf of the late Randy Dickinson, recognizing his legacy and contributions to disability advocacy.

MCRI also had the opportunity to participate in the table discussions, contributing to the questions and conversations highlighted in the photos shared. These discussions are critical in helping shape a more inclusive and responsive system of supports across the province.

Opportunities like this help strengthen collaboration, raise awareness, and ensure that the voices of individuals with disabilities are heard at every level. We are grateful to have been part of the discussion and to continue advocating for inclusive, supportive communities for all.

MCRI joins the community in mourning the passing of Randy Dickinson — a respected advocate, leader, and champion for the rights of persons with disabilities.

Randy’s lifelong dedication to advancing accessibility, inclusion, and equity helped shape stronger supports and a more inclusive New Brunswick. His compassion, leadership, and belief in dignity for all left a lasting impact on countless individuals, families, and organizations — including ours.

We were honoured to have Randy as a key speaker at MCRI’s 50th Anniversary, where he shared his voice, experience, and passion in a way that deeply resonated with all who attended.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside him.

Randy’s legacy will continue to guide and inspire us as we work toward more inclusive communities for all.

We had a wonderful morning connecting with community, business, and government leaders at this meaningful event hosted at the Moncton Coliseum. Thank you to Inclusion NB for bringing people together around an important purpose—building a more inclusive New Brunswick where everyone belongs.
We’re grateful to be part of conversations that go beyond awareness and focus on real action, impact, and support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this event such a success. We’re inspired by the collaboration, stories, and shared commitment in the room—and we look forward to continuing this important work together.
