Max's family would like to share the sad news of his passing.
Many of you knew Max through the River of Boats, Storybook Kingdom, and Smurf Village. Whether you stopped by from just down the road or while travelling from far away, every visit meant the world to him. The conversations he had with so many of you became some of the highlights of his days, and he often spoke fondly of the people he met through his displays.
On behalf of our family, thank you for the kindness, encouragement, and friendships you shared with him over the years. Knowing his creations brought joy to so many people means more than words could ever express.
Maxwell Otto Morgan passed peacefully away, surrounded by his loving family, on July 9, 2026, at the age of 87.
