Miami was the center of Serbian culture, energy and unity on May 10, 2026. The event “Experience Serbian Culture in Miami”, organized by the Cultural Square, gathered a large number of visitors. On this occasion, guests from Canada (SCA Oplenac) and hosts from Miami (SCA Ras) presented the richness of cultural heritage in the most beautiful way. The central part of the afternoon was the performance of more than 50 talented dancers and singers who brought incredible energy to the stage. Spectators had the opportunity to see live the Serbian kolo, which is proudly on the UNESCO list of intangible cultural heritage, while the accompanying exhibition of folk costumes further brought the authentic Serbian culture closer to all attendees.
This event was not just an artistic performance, it was a bridge between generations. For the Serbian community in Florida, May 10 was an opportunity for children and young people to see their roots firsthand, while their fellow citizens of other cultures could feel the hospitality and spirit of Serbia. What is especially pleasing is the fact that the event was of a humanitarian nature. All proceeds from ticket sales were intended for the Cathedral of St. Simeon the Myrrh-Bearer in Miami, thus the community once again demonstrated the power of unity and commitment to its roots.

Мајами је 10. маја био центар српске културе, енергије и заједништва. Манифестација „Доживите српску културу у Мајамију”, у организацији Културног Трга, окупила је велики број посетилаца. Том приликом, гости из Канаде (СКУД Опленац) и домаћини из Мајамија (КУД РАС) на најлепши начин су представили богатство културног наслеђа. Централни део поподнева био је наступ више од 50 талентованих играча и певача који су на сцену донели невероватну енергију. Гледаоци су имали прилику да уживо виде српско коло, које се с поносом налази на УНЕСЦО-вој листи нематеријалног културног наслеђа, док је пратећа изложба народних ношњи додатно приближила аутентични српски колорит свим присутнима.
Овај догађај није био само уметнички наступ, он је био мост између генерација. За српску заједницу на Флориди, 10. мај је био прилика да деца и млади виде своје корене на делу, док су њихови суграђани других култура могли да осете гостопримство и дух Србије. Посебно радује чињеница да је догађај био хуманитарног карактера. Сав приход од улазница намењен је катедрали Светог Симеона Мироточивог у Мајамију, чиме је заједница још једном показала снагу јединства и приврженост својим коренима.
