๐ฃ Calling All Engineering Students: Showcase Your Work at the PEO - West Central Symposium 2026
The Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) West Central Region is pleased to invite students to participate in our Symposium, taking place on ๐ ๐ผ๐ป๐ฑ๐ฎ๐, ๐๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ถ๐น ๐ญ๐ฏ, ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒ, at the ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ผ๐๐ ๐ง๐ผ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ป๐๐ผ ๐๐ถ๐ฟ๐ฝ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ ๐๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐น. This yearโs theme, โShaping Canadaโs Future โ Engineering in Action,โ will highlight the critical role engineers play in driving innovation, sustainability, and resilience across our communities.
As part of this flagship event, we are excited to host the Student Project Showcase, running in parallel with the main program and exhibit hall. This showcase offers an exceptional platform for students to present their work and engage directly with:

โข EngineersโinโTraining
โข Industry leaders
โข Academics
โข Municipal representatives
โข Policymakers
๐ Why Participate?
โข ๐ Prizes will be awarded to the top three student projects.
โข ๐๏ธ Complimentary symposium tickets will be provided to all student participants.
โข ๐ก Support for minor presentation expenses (e.g., poster printing) may be available.
The showcase is primarily intended for current 4thโyear Capstone / FinalโYear Design students, but we also welcome recent graduates from the previous academic year, especially if their projects are well suited for presentation.
We kindly ask for your support in sharing this opportunity within your programs and student networks. Your assistance in reaching the right student groups will help ensure strong representation from across the West Central Region.
