The PCAS Youth Trusteeship Program is designed to provide young people with structured support while helping them build greater independence, confidence and essential life skills.

Through the program, participants can access:

✅ Digital skills workshops

Looking back at a meaningful day of connection, information and community support at the Government Services Super Clinic, held on September 9, 2026. 🇨🇦

Hosted by PCAS jointly with Service Canada, the event brought community members together with representatives from government and community service organizations, creating an opportunity to access information, ask questions and learn more about programs and resources available to them.

The day began with welcoming remarks and an official ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by one-on-one conversations at information booths where attendees could connect directly with service representatives and explore support in areas such as employment, housing, community programs and other essential services.

A sincere thank you to all participating organizations, representatives, guests, volunteers, and community members who joined us and helped make the Super Clinic a valuable and engaging experience. 🙌

We’re excited to announce that PCAS has been awarded funding through the Francophone Community Grants Program (FCGP) to expand opportunities and support Francophone newcomers and individuals facing barriers to employment.

Building on the success of our Customer Service, Retail & Logistics Work Readiness Program, this initiative will help participants develop practical, job-ready skills in:

🔹 Digital Communication
🔹 Project Coordination
🔹 Workplace Readiness & Professional Skills
🔹 Job Search & Employment Preparation

Through hands-on training, simulated workplace experiences, employment support, and connections with employers, participants will gain the skills, confidence, networks, and connections needed to take their next step toward meaningful employment.

A meaningful day of support, care and community at PCAS! 🎒💙

On August 27, PCAS hosted our Back-to-School Backpack Distribution Clinic, helping local families and students get ready for the new school year with practical support and essential resources.

Throughout the day, backpacks and school essentials were distributed to students, along with access to free haircut services, helping families prepare for the school year in one welcoming and supportive space. 📚✂️

The initiative aimed to help students start the new school year with the supplies, support and confidence they need to succeed.

A heartfelt thank you to every family who joined us, as well as our staff, volunteers and supporters who helped make this initiative possible. 🙌 Wishing all students a successful, positive and exciting school year ahead! ✨
