As families get ready to head back to school, September is a wonderful time to celebrate the importance of literacy and learning in our community.

We are grateful to the City of Mission for officially proclaiming September as Literacy Month and for recognizing the important role literacy plays in the lives of children, families, and adults.

At Mission Literacy in Motion, we believe literacy is freedom. Every child deserves the opportunity to build strong literacy skills, and every adult deserves the support they need to learn and grow.

Thank you, City of Mission, for helping us celebrate literacy and the difference it makes in our community!

Mission Literacy in Motion is taking a summer break to relax, recharge, and enjoy the sunshine!☀️

Our office will be closed from July 1st and reopen on September 8th. We wish everyone a wonderful summer break and look forward to connecting with you again in September!

Mission Literacy in Motion would love to donate gently used books to help keep local little libraries stocked. We currently have a variety of books available for all ages, from children to adults.
