❤️ They’ve watched so many cats find their forever homes… and we’re really hoping their turn is coming soon.

We have two pairs of adult cats who have been with us for quite some time, still waiting for the families who will choose them.

Older cats and bonded pairs are often overlooked, but there’s something incredibly special about giving two best friends the chance to start their next chapter together. 🐱🐱

HOUSTON UPDATE

This brave little boy did very well with surgery and is recovering well with his Foster. The leg was beyond repair like we thought and becoming septic so needed to be removed.

He was one of 16 cats we rescued from Huston Bc. We have two that we are focusing on that need a lot of medical care and needing to raise funds for.

So far we raised $368 on Facebook, $300 in e transfers and $120 through our website so this still leaves us short $712 for both badly injured kittens.

Please consider a donation if you cannot donate consider fostering a kitty like this and giving them the priceless gift of a safe place to stay as they recover.

Last night we got 16 cats from Houston BC.

A new Rescue had reached out in desperation, looking for placement for these cats as their chance of adoption locally was zero and there were some that need urgent specialized medical care.

Sadly, there is a major over population crisis in this small town with an estimate of at least 400 cats on the streets.

We are happy to be able to lend a helping hand and hopefully be able to make a change in this overwhelming situation by taking in cats and supporting them with some much needed supplies we can spare.

We are in need of funds for two of the kittens, one needing a leg amputation very urgently and the other needing an eye removed for an old ruptured eye.
We need to raise an estimated $1500 🙀

Today we took in 8 kitties in need of transfer from another shelter.

Some had lingered due to missing a leg, missing an eye or other disabilities and needed a new change of scenery to find their loving families.

At CTRS we love helping special kitties like this and hope our community can come together to help us find their loving homes despite their imperfections. ❤️

WE FOUND A DRIVER (funds raised going towards gas) ❤️

🆘 URGENT DRIVER NEEDED SORRENTO BC TO MISSION BC🆘

thursday-Saturday as the Rescue in Sorrento will be collecting them from Alberta wednesday and sadly doesn’t have a Foster of the resources to intake them so asked for support

mom with 4 babies needing a ride, kittens have ch (balance disorder) and farmer wants them gone, one was already drowned 😭

Ch cats can live a very normal happy life!
