Here is your weekly construction update for the week of June 15th, 2026:

🚧Habitat for Humanity Subdivision – Underground Infrastructure will continue off Railway Avenue between Lawlor Lane and Doyle Street.

⚾Ironmen Field Lighting Upgrades – Work will continue off John Street with periodic road closures between Pyne Street and St. Thomas Street.

🔨Eco Centre Roof Repairs – Work will continue at the facility at Civic 21 Cove Road.

🚧Former Kerr’s Trailer Park Stormwater Upgrades Phase 2 – Work will continue on Lakeside Drive/Marcan Drive to perform ditching and the installation of storm infrastructure.

🚧Vye’s Hollow Lift Station Replacement – Work will continue near Civic 288 King George Highway.

⚠️Shoreline Protection – Landscaping will continue near civic 4020 Water Street.

🚧Street Resurfacing North – Paving operations will continue on Ideal Court. The work includes road preparation and asphalt paving.

🚧Duke Street Reconstruction – Milling operations will commence between Queen Street and Warren Avenue.

Lane Closure – Farrer Crescent and Crocker Crescent

The City of Miramichi would like to advise motorists that on Friday, June 12th, Farrer Crescent and Crocker Crescent will be reduced to single lane traffic to perform paving. Motorists are asked to drive with caution and use alternative routes where possible as we strive to complete this work in a timely manner.

Here are the areas where AquaData will be flushing lines today, Wednesday, June 10th:

𝑷𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒆 𝒏𝒐𝒕𝒆 this is not a complete list of streets, only the areas the contractor will be in.
The lines will be flushed between the 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.
This flushing is part of routine operation and maintenance of the water distribution system.
Residents may temporarily experience some discoloration in the water or decrease in water pressure while this work is being completed.
Residents of these affected areas will be notified on a regular basis of the specific dates when flushing will occur in their area.

Ce rinçage s'inscrit dans le cadre de l'exploitation et de l'entretien courants du réseau de distribution d'eau.
Les habitants pourraient constater temporairement une légère coloration de l'eau ou une baisse de la pression pendant la durée des travaux.
Les habitants des zones concernées seront informés régulièrement des dates précises auxquelles le rinçage aura lieu dans leur quartier.
