The next scheduled meeting of Haliburton County Council is taking place this Wednesday, June 10th at 9am.

This meeting will be held in person in Dysart Council Chambers.

Join The County of Haliburton in celebrating National AccessAbility Week (NAAW)! This year's theme is "Building a Strong, Accessible Canada".

The County of Haliburton and its member municipalities are committed to meeting accessibility laws when building or making major changes to buildings and public spaces.

🎉 We just launched the 2026–27 call for proposals for community-based projects through the New Horizons for Seniors Program. If your organization supports older Canadians, you can now apply for funding!

Stay up to date by checking out our four key updates! 👇
- doubling the maximum grant amount to $50,000 per project
- establishing a new assessment criterion to encourage applications from organizations with a mandate or mission primarily focused on seniors
- requiring a Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) business number

National AccessAbility Week: May 31st - June 6th, 2026

The County of Haliburton is proud to announce the recipients of the first Haliburton County Accessibility Awards, recognizing individuals, businesses, and organizations whose efforts are helping to build a more inclusive, welcoming, and barrier-free community.

Presented through Haliburton County’s Joint Accessibility Advisory Committee, the Accessibility Awards program celebrates residents, businesses, and organizations that are making a meaningful difference in the lives of people with disabilities and advancing accessibility across the County.
